last weekend i posted a couple of casual outfits from my visit to morgane le fay, for dark lamb’s fashion fantasy friday feature. this week, we are decidedly more fancy, in 2 different versions of the same gown.

this would make such a pretty wedding dress. i love the draping on the front of the dress, and the tulle ‘pockets’ in the skirt that let the material spill out a little bit. i also like the wrap style, which allows the dress to fit a lot of different body types, AND means you get a nice bow on the back.

all in all, it would be a wedding dress fit for royals and commoners alike. now you’re probably wondering what sort of dress would work for bridesmaids if you chose this for your wedding (okay no one is wondering that, but i couldn’t think of a good transition). 

fortunately, my friend Melanie has the perfect solution- we were all smitten with morgane le fay’s constellation print dresses. we were thinking an astrology-themed wedding might be kinda awesome, especially for a lady-wizard.
