over the past week i’ve been pretty diy-busy, making some fun stuff.  my latest was this necklace, which i’ve been forever collecting bright-colored trinkets and hearts for.  i finally felt like i’d amassed the perfect dangly bits and the best matched gold chain, so it was time to put it all togther.

it basically has a million little pieces that took forever to attach.  but, i’ve set up my jewelry workspace to watch hulu to pass along the hours while i work.  this necklace was happily made while watching episode after episode of 21 jump street (i was running out of tv options), so this necklace will forever conjure up an image of young johnny depp’s face every time i wear it.

the dress here was a recent purchase from the lovely shop, imyourpresent.  i am obsessed with this shop!  she designs the most adorable things.  you can’t really see the cute shape of the dress because i’m sitting, so here’s a photo from kelly’s site….

the best part about the dress…is that you can eat as much pie as you want, and no one will ever know.  and it comes with an adorable little bow, that i wear when i’m not wearing my crazy-color necklace.

and last but not least, a close-up of the most adorable (but painfully high) heels that were gifted to me.  i just love the gold detail designs on them.
